The match started out fairly evenly with the younger Macclesfield team giving Stockport 4s a run for their money. But despite the effort from Macclesfield the experienced Stockport side soon gelled as a team and held them back. Macclesfield managed to rack up two goals but with Natalie Sutherland and Rachel Dunley working mid field, Debbie Moles and Justina Maddock poaching goals Stockport had the advantage and the score was 3-2 at half time
The second half started in much the same vain until Stockport put two goals away in quick succession. Maccclesfield's heads went down and the goals came rolling in and Debbie Moles went into goal fest. The final score 9-4 to Stockport 4s.
