Caught off guard as soon as the match started

Stockport were caught off guard as soon as the match started. However even though we were one nil down so early on we fought back valiantly with Kerry Roberts and Adele Lumsden leading the battle. We were four nil down and we started to push forward with a couple of cracking chances from Amy Nicklin but to no avail and we finished the first half 5 nil down.

Undeterred in the 2nd half Stockport kept their heads up and began to play with more conviction. Hannah Meadwell marked her player and kept her out of the game and Kelly Shore found spaces. Even though we lost loads more goals in the 2nd half, a side effect of trying to push up, the team worked much harder together and Andrea Getcheffsky put in some remarkable saves.
