It turned out to be a cracker

There was a lot of talk about this clash between the 3rd and 4th team and it turned out to be a cracker. Both teams started well but it was the 4th's who struck first after 10 minutes.  A cross from left inner Debbie Mole was picked up in the circle by Chloe Withers, her shot was saved but the rebound was slotted home by Nat Sutherland, 1-0.  The 2nd goal came 15 minutes later when Ceire McManee pounced on yet another rebound from Debbie's shot, unlucky Andrea.  Debbie Mole, who is in great form, made it 3-0 by the break. Picking up the ball deep in her own half, she ran nearly the full length of the pitch and fired home past a diving Andrea, great goal.

The 2nd half was different again and the 3rds came out fighting scoring 2 quick goals making it a close game.

A break down the right wing from Ann Adamson saw Viv Hudson rewarded with a goal, her shot unfortunately was deflected past the keeper by a defender into the goal.  Debbie capped off a great performance with another goal converted from a corner. 

Final score 5-2, this game was played in a great spirit, well done to both teams.
