This Saturday saw the thirds turn out against Didsbury Greys 3s to secure the win and their promotion.

We turned up to see the tail end of a really exciting game between the 4s and Man Uni which was end to end stuff and were raring to go when we got on the pitch.

The pressure was intense from the off and action was seen at both ends. Despite some near misses and and excellent an save on the goal line by Kelsey the score was 0-0 at half time.

In the opening minute of the second half Caroline Lumsdon took ball through from mid field crossed it to found Debbie Mole who neatly deflected it in to take Stockport one up. After that Stockport steadily increased the pressure and it wasn't long before Debbie scored another.
Didsbury Greys 3s managed to convert a short corner to close the gap a little.

A scramble in the D where a Didsbury Grey's defender hid the ball under the prone keeper resulted in a penalty flick being awarded.
Emma Woodehead stepped up to make it 3-1.

The final minutes of the game Caroline stepped in to take the final game. The game ended 4-1 to Stockport.
