Senior Teams

Stockport 1st team gained a well deserved 3 points at the weekend against Didsbury Northern.  Stockport were 1-0 down at half time but goals in the second half from Jenny Worth; Lisa Horbury; Lucy Cook and Natalie Sutherland the made the final score 4-1, pushing them into 2nd place at the top of the Division 2 table.
 
Stockport 2nds lost against a well drilled experienced Moss Park side.  Nicola Attoe scoring Stockport's only goal in the 4-1 defeat whereas Stockport 3rds salvaged a point against Bolton.  The 3rds initially went 1-0 down but were then awarded a penalty stroke when the ball was stopped by feet on the goal line.  Debbie Mole coolly slotted the ball in the net.  Stockport went behind on 2 more occasions but Christina Bates scored from close range and Mole got her 2nd making the final score 3-3.
 
Both Stockport 4ths and 5ths lost their games.  The 4ths lost 5-0 to Rochdale 1s and the 5ths lost 6-2 to Urmston.

Stockport Juniors

Stockport Under 13's commenced their season on Sunday with the young U13 boys losing all their matches but the girls gained value points drawing 1-1 against Alderley Edge and winning 3-0 against Bolton and 2-0 against Timperly.  Hayley Farrell scoring 4 of the 6 goals of the day and Claire Higgs breaking from defence into attack to create the goal scoring opportunities.
