Charity Hockey Tournament  

Fantastic fund raising effort today for the Children's Farm Trust we made £320!! A big thanks to all players, Neil/Tim for umpiring, everyone who baked, bought tombola prizes and spectators who supported. A great day all round and well done to the winning team xx

Summer League commences Wednesday 13th May 2009  6.30-9pm. We have entered 3 ladies teams

Hoodies are here and if you have not collected yours they will be at training and any final games to be played. The final cost is £14 so if you have paid £10 deposit you need to pay the final £4 on delivery.

And finally ......

Some Great News hot off the press........ 3rd team have gained promotion this season with the 4th team gaining a close (and respectable) third place - well done to both squads and those players who have complimented the team on occasions.

Well done to Leah Perkins (3rd team) who has successfully passed her Level 1 Umpire Qualification. Angela Fuggle (Umpire Secretary) thanks Neal Shore, Dave Elcock, Andrea Boulton, Louise Preston, Leah Perkins, Julie Griffiths and Josie Moore for umpiring throughout the season for the Club.

A BIG thank you to Sam Piggin, Susan Elcock and Tom Flint who have helped Jax and me with the junior coaching every week, and to Leah Perkins, Julie Gavin, Mark D'Souza, Helen Carroll and Tom who have helped me out regularly with the Junior Fixtures on Sundays throughout the season.

Hockey coaching - Juniors (boys & girls aged 7 upwards) 6-7pm and seniors (ladies) 7-8.15pm at  Werneth Recreation Centre (behind  Werneth School)

All abilities catered for and new players always welcome.

	Stockport Hockey club is now working toward England Hockey "Club First" status. Club First is a scheme run by England hockey that helps clubs to provide a safe and friendly environment in which young players can develop their hockey skills to their full potential.
